Blessing of SJB Renovations
On September 22nd, 2008, Bishop Loverde celebrated the 10:30am Mass at St. John Bosco Catholic Church to bless our renovations to the church. Following Mass there was a reception in Hanley Hall with members of the parish and Our Lady of the Shenandoah Mission Church.

March for Life 2008
Members of Saint John Bosco Parish participated in the 35th annual National March for Life on January 22nd in Washington, DC. The parish sponsored a bus from Woodstock in support of the rally and march with costs not covered by tickets sales subsidized by the Knights of Columbus. We had a great turnout which resulted in the bus being full. Another bus from Harrisonburg stopped by to pick up the overflow from Saint John Bosco parishioners. This was a wonderful opportunity for members of our parish to show our support for the right to life of all of God's children - born and unborn. There were an estimated 225,000 pro-life activists gathered on the national mall standing in the cold on a cloudy day with a slight rain.
